Delivery Times & Costs

Trend Studio is a national online supplier and will courier your items anywhere within South Africa. We will also courier beyond our borders, and will quote separately on this.

We will deliver your Trend Studio items within 3 working days if you live in one of the main city centres in South Africa, and within 5 working days for regional areas further away from the main centres. Trend Studio works hard to deliver on time, however sometimes things happen and so we are unable to guarantee that all orders will be delivered within the stipulated time frame.

Delivery is FREE of charge for all orders over R599, within South Africa. If your order is less than R599, a nominal delivery fee of R99 will be charged. The delivery cost will be added to the total payment of items, and charged when you checkout.

If you are paying via deposit (EFT), we will only dispatch the items once the funds have cleared into our bank account.

Returns Policy

According to the Consumer Protection Act, you have 7 days to cancel your order following from the day of the arrival of the goods, and providing the goods have not been worn, and are in a re-saleable state. If you want to return something, ensure you keep the product in the condition it was dispatched in, with all the tags and packaging.  If the security tag has been cut or removed, we are unable to accept returns.  Trend Studio cannot accept returns of earrings by reason of their nature, due to hygiene reasons. This does not affect your statutory rights. Please note that the goods remain YOUR responsibility until they are received and signed for by us.

If an unwanted product is returned for exchange for a different product you will be charged or refunded any price difference, plus return postage.

Please note: Do not write "jewellery", "diamonds" or similar words which indicates valuable contents, on the package you are returning, as this invites possible theft of the package.

How do I shop on the Trend Studio website?

We've made shopping at Trend Studio easy, efficient and secure. You can browse through our various jewellery and accessory brands, or if you are looking for something specific, use the search bar to help you find it quickly. Should you find something you’d like to purchase, simply add it to your shopping cart. You will be taken to the checkout screen where you can choose to either checkout or continue shopping. Should you select the checkout option, you will be asked to enter your delivery details, as well as select a payment option.

 

What are my payment options?

At Trend Studio we accept Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards. We also accept direct deposits (EFTs). The prices shown on our website are quoted in South African Rands. The amount you pay will be the price indicated plus any delivery charges. Orders over R599 are delivered free of charge.

 

When will my credit card be charged?

If the payment is authorised, your card will immediately be debited and you will receive an order confirmation e-mail from us. If payment is authorised but there is a query with your order, we will contact you by telephone or email within 1 working day to resolve the issue.

How do I track my order?

Trend Studio will send you an email containing the courier tracking number for your order, along with the courier contact details, as soon as your order is dispatched.

 

How do direct deposits work?

During the checkout process you will be prompted to select a payment method. If you select "direct deposit" you will be emailed our bank details for the deposit. The email, which you will receive from us after placing your order, will include our banking details, email address and fax number. The goods will be dispatched as soon as payment clears.

 

What happens if an item is sold out or discontinued?

We do apologize if an item you would like to order is sold out or discontinued. Our stock availability is automatically refreshed on the website, but occasionally a number of customers place an order for the same item at the same time.

If an item is out of stock or discontinued, we will call or email you. You will be given the option of either waiting for new stock if the item is to be continued, or receiving a full refund. 

 

Do prices include VAT?

All prices quoted on our website are in South African Rands and include 15% VAT.

 

RESIDENTS OUTSIDE OF SOUTH AFRICA:

I live outside of South Africa – what are my shipping costs?

People living outside of South Africa are welcome to shop at Trend Studio. We will send you a separate quote for the shipping or courier delivery costs.

 

Please note that the recipient of any products outside of South Africa may also have to pay local import duty, fees and charges applied by customs or other authorities in the country of receipt. The deliveries may be affected by Customs and Excise delays. Trend Studio will not be held liable for any local import duties and taxes or delays. If you are unsure about whether these charges might apply to your order, please contact us.
