How do I shop on the Trend Studio website?

We’ve made shopping at Trend Studio easy, efficient and secure. You can browse through our various jewellery and accessory brands, or if you are looking for something specific, use the search bar to help you find it quickly. Should you find something you’d like to purchase, simply add it to your shopping cart. You will be taken to the checkout screen where you can choose to either checkout or continue shopping. Should you select the checkout option, you will be asked to enter your delivery details, as well as select a payment option.

What are my payment options?

We accept Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards. We also accept direct deposits (EFTs). The prices shown on our website are quoted in South African Rands. The amount you pay will be the price indicated plus any delivery charges. Orders over R800 are delivered free of charge.

When will my credit card be charged?

If the payment is authorised, your card will immediately be debited and you will receive an order confirmation e-mail from us. If payment is authorised but there is a query with your order, we will contact you by telephone or email within 1 working day to resolve the issue.

Is it safe to order online?

Security and integrity are the cornerstones of Trend Studio’s business philosophy.

Trend Studio is proud to use Virtual Card Services – who process all our credit card transactions. All credit card transactions are 128 bit Secure Socket Layers (SSL) encrypted. Virtual Card Services is committed to providing secure online services. All encryption complies with international standards. Virtual Card Services Internet servers (www.vcs.co.za) are protected by firewalls and intrusion detection systems. The Merchant (www.Trendstudio.co.za) does not have access to your credit details.
As a retailer we also participate in 3-D Secure, a service that protects your card details with a personal password, and verified by Visa & MasterCard SecureCode. This is to give you even more confidence when shopping on line.

How do I track my order?

As soon as your order is dispatched, we will send you an email containing your invoice as well as the courier tracking number and courier contact details for you to easily track your order online.

How do direct deposits work?

During the checkout process you will be prompted to select a payment method. If you select “direct deposit” you will be emailed our bank details for the deposit. The email, which you will receive from us after placing your order, will include our banking details and email address. The goods will be dispatched as soon as payment clears. 


What happens if an item is sold out and I have already made payment?

We do apologize if an item you would like to order is sold out. Our stock availability is automatically refreshed on the website, but occasionally a number of customers place an order for the same item at the same time.
If an item is out of stock, we will call or email you. You will be given the option of either waiting for new stock if the item is to be continued, or receiving a full refund.

Do prices include VAT?

All prices quoted on our website are in South African Rands and include 15% VAT.

RESIDENTS OUTSIDE OF SOUTH AFRICA:

I live outside of South Africa – what are my shipping costs?

People living outside of South Africa are welcome to shop at Trend Studio. Before you checkout, please send us an email at info@trendstudio.co.za and we will quote you separately for the shipping costs.

Please note that the recipient of any products outside of South Africa may also have to pay local import duty, fees and charges applied by customs or other authorities in the country of receipt. The deliveries may be affected by Customs and Excise delays. Trend Studio will not be held liable for any local import duties and taxes or delays. If you are unsure about whether these charges might apply to your order, please contact us.

What if I need more details before making my decision?

How can I best take care of my items?

We hope you will enjoy your Trend Studio Jewellery and for the items to last as long as possible in the best possible condition. To keep them in pristine conditions, the jewellery requires delicate handling and care to preserve the metal plating or delicate details.

Please follow these simple care guidelines to ensure you get the best from your jewellery:

  • Do not allow perfume, hairspray, hand cream, chlorine or salt water to come into contact with your jewellery and avoid abrasive jewellery cleaning agents.
  • Store your Jewellery in a pouch or jewellery box to avoid it getting scratched.
  • Clean your Jewellery by gently rubbing it with a soft cloth. This will maintain its beautiful finish and shine.
